How bad is it to take a 2.0 to higher RPM's? What are the pro's running? Surely their running turbo's and reving to atleast 9,000rpms with 2.0's, right? If anyone with experience know's then please reply. I am curious as to know how "big" I can build mine.

The only downside to spinning a CRVTEC to high rpms is the rod/stroke ratio [img]frown.gif[/img] You could get some "custom" pistons made to increase the rod/stroke ratio, BUT you will spend A LOT of money doing so. I decided to strengthen up the bottom end by installing a Z10 block girdle to prevent crankwalk at high rpms;

My intensions are to spin her up to 8,000 rpms ONLY at the drag strip, and no more than 7,000 rpms on the street...
So far I've taken her up to 6,000 rpms and she purrs like a kitten!!
I just put another 100 miles on her tonight so only 197 miles to go.....hehe

Actually, I can update your particular 2025 to the "i" version when you come back up. All I will have to do is change out the bleeder screw for you because I already installed the big check valve.

Well guys the motor is broke-in now [img]smile.gif[/img] YAY! Now all I have to do is wait on Jimbo to get those cars finished up so I can take him to Atlanta with me!!! hehehehe.........
